Many thanks to all who turned out for dinner and the windy but fun trail ride in the Juniper Flats area. We had ten rigs on the run including seven Jeeps, two Toyota 4-Runners and one Chevy pickup.  After dinner we departed Nick’s Pizza at 8:00pm. We finished the run around 10:30. A fun time was had by all.

We had a great time exploring the Calico Mountains. There was a good turnout for this run with six Jeeps and one Toyota and a total of twelve people. We aired down at the start of Mule Canyon then headed up East Phillips with stops an many mine sites, Sweetwater Spring then on up to Bismark Mine. We stopped for lunch at the rock house ruin.  We planned to run several more trails but a broken axle on one of the Jeeps prompted a hasty exit to Fort Irwin Road and back to civilization.  We hope to repeat this run in the near future to complete all the intended trails and for those who were not able to join us today.

Many thanks to all who turned out for the Afton Canyon run. We had eight rigs and a hist of great people. The weather was perfect and we enjoyed visiting the many points of interest.

Looking forward to our next adventure. Stay tuned.

Thanks to everyone who turned out to make this a fun day. We met at 8:30 on Bowen Ranch Road where we aired down and had our driver’s meeting. We hit the trail around 9:00am. We had a total of eight rigs ranging from the old (CJ and YJ) to the new (diesel powered Gladiator).  We had one guest all the way from Florida (he is in town for few months and we hope he joins us again).  We headed up the hill on Juniper Flats Road then took the side trail up to the flagpole where we enjoyed the nice weather, great view and good conversations.

We then made a stop at the Rattlesnake Quarry and ended our day at The Desert Oasis, affectionately known as Little Tahiti. The new off-roaders did a great job!  Again, thanks for a great day.
