Saturday February 22nd Coolgardie Limited Use Area

Well, the weather forecast improved so, after breakfast at the Outpost Cafe, we made a last minute decision to revert to “Plan A” and explored more of the Coolgardie Limited Use Area. We visited several historic sites including the townsite of Coolgardie where we met the “Mayor of Coolgardie” (yes there is more to this story) and Well’s Cabin.

We had four rigs (three Jeeps and one Toyota) and eight people and lots of fun. We finished the day with a side trip through Rainbow Basin and a stop at the Original Del Taco in Barstow. It was a great day. Thank you to all who participated.
